The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has officially released the date sheet for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I and Part-II 1st Annual Examination 2026.
Exams are set to commence on Thursday, May 14, 2026. For students in Wah Cantt, Islamabad, and international centers, this is the final countdown. Below is the breakdown of the schedule and key instructions to ensure you are exam-ready.
Exam Timings and Sessions
FBISE will conduct the 2026 HSSC exams in two shifts:
Morning Session: 09:00 AM to 12:00 NOON (Attendance time: 08:30 AM)
Evening Session: 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM (Attendance time: 02:00 PM)

Important Guidelines for Candidates
Uniform & Roll Number Slip: Students must appear in their proper school/college uniform and carry their original Roll Number Slip.
Evening Session on Fridays: Note that the evening shift starts at 02:30 PM to accommodate Friday prayers.
Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, and any programmable devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Practical Examinations: The schedule for practical exams will be communicated separately and typically follows the theory papers.

The 2026 exams will continue to follow the Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) based model.
